My personal site — a static Astro build with Markdown content, photo albums with a lightbox, dark mode and automatic deploys to GitHub Pages.
I wanted one place for my projects, writing, resume and photos — quick to load, easy to update, and free to host.
How it’s built
- Astro generates a fully static site. Blog posts, projects and work history are Markdown files with typed frontmatter.
- Photography albums are just folders of images; Astro turns them into responsive WebP at build time.
- Cloudflare Pages builds and deploys on every merge to
main, with a preview link for every pull request. - Light and dark themes, an RSS feed, a sitemap and Open Graph tags are built in.
