About

A little about me

I'm a software engineer based in New York. For the past several years I've been building the plumbing that makes data useful: streaming pipelines, backend APIs, and lately the services that let AI/ML models do real work in production.

Right now I'm at Adroit Tech, where I work on event-driven pipelines with Kafka that feed AI workflows, on Spring Boot services, and on the observability that keeps model latency, token usage and error rates in check. Before that I spent two years at Tata Elxsi in Bangalore building AWS data pipelines that processed over a million transactions a day, and a year as an analytics engineer at Stacts.

In 2023 I moved to the US for an M.S. in Data Science at the University at Buffalo, where I went deeper on machine learning, deep learning and generative AI.

Outside of work I take photos — mostly streets, light and long drives upstate — and occasionally write about things I've learned the hard way.
